From Wye:

Take Coldharbour Lane out of Wye and up the hill. Continue past the Devils Kneading Trough and the next crossroads through the village of Hastingleigh, bearing left 100 yards after the Bowl Inn pub. At the bottom of the hill, turn left up the hill into Bodsham. The Smithy is on the right by the pillar box approx 100 yards after the TimberBatts pub

From Canterbury:

Take the B2068 Nackington Road from the Cricket Ground for 4 miles and turn right at the sign for Petham and Waltham. As you drive into Waltham, bear right past the village hall and at the small triangular green turn left onto Woods Hill. Continue for 1.5 miles and at the first crossroads turn left. Follow this road for 1 mile into Bodsham and the Smithy is on the left by the pillar box

From M20:

From the M20 take junction 9, then take the A28 following signs for Canterbury, then Wye. Take the right turn to Wye (Harville Road) proceeding to the bend, and turn right over the level crossing. Follow the road through Wye (bends sharply to the left just after the Tickled Trout Public House) passing the Church on your left hand side and the co-op (nearest shop) on the right hand side. Stay on the main road, on leaving the village the road climbs up onto the top of the North Downs. After 3 miles you will pass through Hastingleigh. At this point continue to follow brown signs for the Pottery for a further mile until you reach a left hand turning (opposite the Pottery) with an old sign saying Timberbatts, Great Holt Farm and Bodsham. Turn left and proceed up the hill. Pass the Timerbatts pub on your right hand side, The Smithy is found further up on the right hand side with a telephone box outside. Alternatively, from M20 take junction 11 and follow B2068 to Canter- bury for approx 4 miles, until you see a white signpost for Wye Elmsted and Bodsham. Proceed for about a mile through Elmsted until you come to a Ceramic and Pottery sign on the left and a sign for Timber Batts public house on the right. Proceed as above.
