Canterbury is a fantastic city, blending it’s famous historic heritage with a lively university town atmosphere. No more than a 10 minute drive down the hill, Wye is the closest significant village to Bodsham with a large church, 2 schools, several shops, a hairdressers, a chemist, 3 pubs and a couple of restaurants. It is very picturesque, with a river and victorian railway station, and is rightly regarded as one of the prettiest villages in Kent.
Outside of the village, there are the historic monuments of the Devils Kneading Trough and Wye Crown - both offering excellent and scenic walking.
